Playing and Practice Facilities

Senwes Park has excellent playing and practice facilities that are used by franchise, national and international teams almost all year round.

Practice Nets

TURF NETS

The A nets was build in 1999 and consist of 16 strips. The B nets (Academy nets) was build in 2005 and consist of 8 strips. The C nets (Cage nets) consist of 4 strips and was build in 2011. The D nets (International Nets) consist of 8 strips and was build in 2012.

CEMENT NETS

The A nets have 2 cement strips. The B nets have 5 cement strips plus 3 more cements strips under cover. The C nets have 1 cement strip.

MAIN PLAYING OVAL

The main oval consists of 11 pitches and was build in 1998.

INDOOR NETS

The indoor facility is state of the art and consist of 4 nets equipped with bowling machines and safety nets.

GYM

As part of the practice facilities of North West Cricket, a fully equipped gym is available on the premises with an in-house Biokineticist. Available technology.

INTERACTIVE SMARTBOARD

The smart board is an independent workstation allowing the user to perform all tasks normally associated with lecturing and presenting interactively on the board itself. Because of all the other technology available video analysis becomes an interactive big-screen experience which can be done in real time with the added advantage that all interactions can be saved, printed and presented at a later stage.

DARTFISH TEAMPRO

The most advanced system for movement analysis feeds video footage wirelessly to the smart board setup with immediate capture and analysis.

NEW TEST

Completely portable physical analysis system including timing lights which allow any fitness trainer access to all the fitness tests available, with ability to record and analysis date in software and present data very quickly.
